Drake Unfollows Metro Boomin Amid ‘Her Loss’ Comments
Drake has seemingly taken Metro Boomin’s comments about Her Loss to heart. According to a rap music X account (formerly known as Twitter), it shows a screenshot of Drake’s current following list and the record producer is no longer on there.

This unfollow comes after Metro Boomin’s comments over the weekend that compared his Heroes & Villains to Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss. The record producer seemed frustrated that the latter album was getting all the accolades while his album also performed well this year.
In a since-deleted tweet, Metro responded to a RAP FACT: Heroes & Villains received the most streams in a single year for any rap album since 2018, with 3.7b streams 🤯🔥 RAP FACT: Heroes & Villains received the most streams in a single year for any rap album since 2018, with 3.7b streams 🤯🔥 RAP FACT: Heroes & Villains received the most streams in a single year for any rap album since 2018, with 3.7b streams 🤯🔥 RAP FACT: Heroes & Villains received the most streams in a single year for any rap album since 2018, with 3.7b streams 🤯🔥

Drake Seemingly Responds To Metro Boomin’s Tweet
Drake went to his Instagram Story on Sunday (Dec. 3) to seemingly respond to the shade.
“Damn. little mans, I’m just tryin’ to do me/ If the record’s two mil, I’m just tryin’ to move three,” Drizzy wrote quoting Jay-Z’s 2001 song “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love).”

While Metro expressed how he felt about the comparison of the two albums, he is also featured on Her Loss. The St. Louis native produced “More M’s” on the 2022 project. That wasn’t the first time that they worked together, either. The two worked together on “Jumpman,” which also enlists Future, from their 2015 joint project What a Time to Be Alive and “Knife Talk” with Project Pat and 21 Savage from Certified Lover Boy.
Metro has not responded to Drake unfollowing him on Instagram.
