Nicki Minaj Announces ‘Pink Friday 2’ Tour
Nicki Minaj is going on tour in support of her latest project, Pink Friday 2. The rapper announced that she is headed on a world tour starting in March.
“BARBZZZ!!,” she announced on Instagram Monday (Dec. 11). “It’s time for the #GagCity TOUR. So excited to see you guys!! Presale this week and tickets available FRIDAY.”
Nicki will travel around the United States in cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas, New Orleans, her home city of New York, and more. She will also stop by Canada, making stops in Montreal and Toronto before heading to Europe to visit fans in Paris, London, Amsterdam, and more.
She previously teased the tour prior to the arrival of the album.
“Oh yes fractions warned, SFG did what fractions warned. Red Ruby Da Sleeze MOTHERED so hard & is now the standard. NM5 is the best thing that will come out of 2023 & will raise the bar to new & unreachable heights. NM5 tour will be hailed as ‘genius’. That’s it & that’s all,” Nicki tweeted Wednesday (May 10).
Last month, she was helping fans try to “RSVP” to the tour before the official tour dates were announced.
“Barbz, there’s no need to panic,” Nicki wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter) about the site crashing earlier.”There were lots of ppl waiting on the site. About 30K ppl. Once they sign up, they’ll come off & you’ll be able to. Pls breathe. Also, obviously these aren’t the only countries I’m going to. Just sign up. I’m holding the line open for you.”
Pink Friday 2 arrived on Friday (Dec. 8).
The project features guest appearances from Drake, J. Cole, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, and Future. The 22-track album also contains previously released songs “Super Freaky Girl,” “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” and “Last Time I Saw You.”
