Kanye Updates Fans On ‘Vultures 2’ Release After It Doesn’t Drop
As expected, the second volume of Vultures did not drop at midnight. However, Kanye did leave fans with a sliver of hope about the second installment of the series. In an alleged direct message between a fan account (@yefanatics) and Kanye, the rapper said that he and Ty Dolla $ign are still working on the project.
“Hi Ye. Will Vultures 2 be available today?” the fan account asked the rapper, to which he replied: “We in the lab.”
While there was a delay in Vultures 2, there most likely will be one for Vultures 3 which expected on April 5, 2024.
Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign released the first volume of Vultures on Friday (Feb. 9). The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Kanye Denies Y3 Is In The Works
Fans will just have to wait for the other volumes of Vultures as Ye said that he will not be coming out with a solo project in an Instagram DM to the fan account @yefanatics.
“This is fake news. Ain’t no album called Y3. And ain’t nobody tryna be the ‘old Ye.’ When I made 808s [& Heartbreak] n—– was running round talking bought they miss the old Ye.”
He added mentioning his latest album Vultures with Ty Dolla $ign: “We just made King / Back 2 Me / Carnival/Talking just to name a few. We got the number 1 song in the world and number 1 album in the world with top level beats top level bars top level hooks top level features.”
“I’m the greatest artist in any genre ever. And I’m just getting started,” he concluded the message.
