The Fayetteville NEXT Advisory Commission will host the third Next Generation Business Summit on Tuesday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fayetteville State University's Randolph Jones Student Center. Young leaders, entrepreneurs, students, and working professionals from across the region will gather.
Two panel talks anchor the day. Networking happens between sessions, and lunch runs from noon to 2 p.m. at no charge. Every person who signs up gets a free ticket to watch the Fayetteville Woodpeckers play that same evening.
"The Next Generation Business Summit reflects our commitment to cultivating leadership, supporting entrepreneurship, and creating pathways for long-term economic growth in Fayetteville," said Nathan Cuffee, Chair of the Fayetteville NEXT Advisory Commission, per a media release. "By investing in spaces where emerging leaders can connect, learn, and be inspired, we are actively shaping a stronger, more resilient future for our City."
The morning session kicks off at 10 a.m. It zeroes in on leadership, civic participation, and how to build stronger towns and cities. After lunch, the afternoon panel shifts gears from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This one digs into entrepreneurship, fresh ideas, and how business keeps changing.
Kwame Molden will guide attendees through the day as Master of Ceremony. The Matriculation Institute at Fayetteville State University has teamed up with the commission to pull it all off.
Attendees can meet and talk with business owners and innovators all day long. Those hoping to start their own companies or advance their careers will find resources scattered throughout both sessions. Questions get answered. Contacts get made.
