Major Tim Grider of the Salvation Army detailed the Salvation Army of the Sandhills plans for the (1) upcoming Donut Day Commemoration (visiting first responders and military units over the six-county area) for a one-day celebration that will actually last five.because of the numerous places for which to pay respects), for the (2) development of a Salvation Army campus with which to better serve the growing Fayetteville Metro Area. Talkbackalso conversed with Walt Brinker (author of Roadside Survival (Low Tech Solutions to Automotive Breakdowns)) about dealing with and preventing breakdowns on your family’s vacation. Finally, in a week heavily laden with national tragedy, web blogger Neal Foard gave us a reason to find some hope and keep our faith.
