"Halloween Queen" Heidi Klum made her way back to the Big (Wormy) Apple that is New York City for her annual Halloween party yesterday (October 31). The supermodel and TV personality shared the making of her freaky costume this year via Instagram and on Amazon Live. Her husband Tom Kaulitz joined in on the behind-the-scenes fun, with videos of special gore effects around his left eye.

Once she was ready to unveil her costume to the world, Klum, 49, posted a clip while she was nearly done with her costume. "Trick or treat," Klum says to the camera. "Now to see who I will be." Next, we see a massive worm body wiggle for us and her face stealthily hidden at the surface -- if you look closely, you can see her great smile. With the creepiness factor to consider, 2022 may be the freakiest costume she has done to date. She captioned the reel: "Happy Halloworm!"

“I’m going to be very claustrophobic,” Klum teased to Entertainment Tonight prior to Halloween, and we now see why. “Very claustrophobic. Very, very, very claustrophobic, but I don’t want to let my Halloween fans down, or myself. It’s an internal challenge with myself every year to come up with something amazing, something unexpected,” she continued. “I feel like I’ve achieved that this year, now I just really hope it works.”

Klum joked that the prosthetic-heavy costume might be so claustrophobic that she’ll need medical attention on standby. “There’s never really a trial,” she continued. “There’s no dress rehearsal, so, when I do it that day – it’s either it works or it doesn’t work, so I hope it works.” As we saw on her red carpet, Klum really committed to being a giant worm and got on the ground, with her limbs very obviously bound, resulting in hilarious photos of her wriggling about.

See Heidi Klum's costume, which she brilliantly coordinated with her husband, as well as other attendees at the 21st annual Halloween party below:

Now that's a Mod Mummy -- from space!

This is what it looks like when a zombie bite starts to infect you, but you're still serving up punk avant-garde looks.

That's a little more sequins on Elvis than we're used to, but Priscilla looks absolutely gorgeous.

Brad McOmber and Phillip Estrada

We love the look of a curly Captain America and this fabulously morbid tiger trainer costume.

Alexina Graham

It's always a classic coming dressed as Lydia Deetz in her red bridal outfit. Not too crazy about the black in the corset, though.

Julia Fox

The muse herself came with a creative rendition of 'Where The Wild Things Are' to match with costumes with her adorable son.

Janisha Jones

We don't see too many people dressing up as Him from the Powerpuff Girls, so when we do, we give credit where it's due!

The rocketman was also DJing the Halloween party when he was not navigating the universe.

Devin Way

That bald cap and hairstyle is comical, but we love the usage of cotton balls to give the illusion of floating! Well done.

Chloe Flower

We're not entirely sure who this is supposed to be, but the commitment to being a royal shows!

Another fun and easy DIY: buy 101 dalmation toys and glue them to a dress! Bonus points if you affix them to a headband or hat.

Elon Musk

The Twitter CEO showed up in battle armor with his mother to the party.
