New research has revealed the most Googled musician of 2022 in America, conducted by celebrity news site CelebTattler. The site analyzed Google search data for over 150 of the most influential musicians since January 1, 2022 to determine which celebrity was the most talked about of the year. Commenting on the study, a spokesperson for CelebTattler said: “This year has been a fantastic year for music fans across America with record breaking albums and singles coming from the likes of Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and more. With the music award season in full swing, it will be interesting to see if the most Googled musicians of the year end up winning the most awards too.”

With no shortage of celebrity drama and world tours in full swing once more, it is of no shock that the top 10 musicians who made the list are those currently on on tour or about to go on tour. See below the top 10 most Googled musicians of 2022:

10. Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa rounds out the top ten most Googled musicians list, being Googled 1.44 million times per month on average. Dua Lipa spent the year touring America on her Future Nostalgia tour whilst also collaborating with music legend Elton John.

Justin Bieber has been Googled 1.49 million times per month by Americans this year.

Gomez released new music alongside her tell-all documentary 'My Mind and Me' this year, detailing her mental health struggles whilst battling Lupus. She also may have gained new (older) fans thanks to her co-starring role in 'Only Murders In The Building," alongside boomers Steve Martin and Martin Short. Gomez has been Googled 1.51 million times per month this year.


7. Ariana Grande
