Every child is a miracle, precious in his or her own way. That is why Danny Thomas, founded St. Jude Children’s Hospital more than 46 years ago. He was determined to change the fate of children diagnosed with cancer and other diseases. Living with cancer or other deadly diseases is frightening no matter who you are, but it is especially scary for a child, That is why Old School 107.7 JAMZ is supporting St. Jude Children’s Hospital “Child Life Program”. This program helps children express their feelings through play, writing and art. We are currently featuring an inspiring collection of unforgettable poems and artwork entitled “ABC’s of Cancer”. Crafted by the young heroes who are patients at St. Jude Children’s Hospital, the “ABC’s of Cancer” takes you on the emotional journey on which these children and their families have embarked, a journey that will make you smile, cry, and we hope embrace the lifesaving mission with renewed passion.
