House of the Dragon is getting their dosage of Game of Thrones-level incest with last night's (September 11) episode. The culprits: Daemon (Matt Smith) and Rhaenyra Targaryan (Milly Alcock). Upon returning after four years of being exiled, Daemon was looking to get back at his brother, King Viserys (Paddy Considine). Daemon set his sights on the impressionable Rhaenyra, who has the utmost respect for her uncle. Once night hits, Rhaenyra is given a sack of clothes to change into to disguise herself as a Page and instructions to a secret door to leave the castle undetected. Once she meets her uncle, the two set out upon town and find themselves in a brothel, by Daemon's lead.

There, their hoods are removed as the two are surrounded by people partaking in a massive orgy all around them. Daemon encourages Rhaenyra that "Sex is a pleasure for women and men," he says, inching closer to Rhaenyra, who does not waver and returns his advances. However, Daemon is suddenly turned off as his plan to be in control backfired and the two do not have sex with each other. After Rhaenyra is rejected by Daemon, she returns to her room upset but roped in her guard Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel) to enter her room and finish the job. She takes him inside, seduces him and the two have sex, and she formally loses her virginity.

When Rhaenyra left the brothel, she was seen and followed by a spy the entire night, and news of her and her uncle reached the King's Hand, Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans). Since Otto wants Aegon to rise as the King's successor, he wastes no time in telling Viserys what his spy saw. Viserys saw this news as a calculated move by Otto and refuses to believe him or his spy, later removing him from his Hand. Otto's daughter/the King's wife Alicent overhears this and confronts Rhaenyra, but Rhaenyra uses her dead mother Aemma as a way of lying out of that one.

House of the Dragon airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO and HBO Max.
