The 9 Most Expensive Fayetteville Homes Currently On the Market

Dreaming about living in the most expensive Fayetteville homes is always so much fun… even if they might be out of most of our price ranges.

Realtor.com currently has 10 homes listed above $800,000 in only Fayetteville zip codes as of January 25, 2022. One of those includes nearly 70 acres of land, so we’re not including that one in our rankings below, but you can check it out here.

So what do the most expensive Fayetteville homes currently on the market have in common? For starters, most of them are pretty centrally located in the areas generally around Terry Sanford High School (in Haymount, off Morganton Rd., etc.).

They also all have mostly four or more bedrooms, 3.5 or more bathrooms, and range from 3,750 to 8,500 square feet. You’re generally looking at gated communities, massive yards, high-end fixtures, and all the pretty countertops you can stand.

Houses at this price range don’t tend to sell all that quickly in this area. Only three homes have sold for over $800,000 in the last three months in Cumberland County. And that’s with a really hot market. We’ll list those three at the end of the article, after the ones currently for sale.

According to Realtor.com, the average price of homes currently on the market in Fayetteville is $179,900, and the median sold home price recently is $155,000 – substantially cheaper than the most expensive homes in Fayetteville.
