Andrew Toth/Getty ImagesAccording to Bryan Fuller via his Twitter account, Martha De Laurentiis has begun conversing about a potential revival for the bloody-yet-sophisticated show.
Fuller shares with a Twitter user that they couldn't begin discussing a revival show until 2 years after the final airing of season 3, which puts us to around now.
Hannibal had a significant cult following, think in the league of Sherlock on the BBC. It was shocking once the show was taken off the air, and many had called to bring back Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy in a revival show on Netflix or Amazon Prime, somewhere where the show could still live off mainstream TV.
As Amazon Prime seems to be the only location you can watch Hannibal, we're going to take a wild guess and think that Martha may be chatting with Amazon execs to be the housing location for further episodes.
We're shivering with anticipation.
