Details are still coming in about the final moments of the Las Vegas mass shooter, and speculation continues to grow as to what led him to shoot so many people attending a country music festival.

Since the mass shooting unfolded (which claimed the lives of 59 people and injuring more than five hundred individuals,) photos have surfaced online that show the gunman laying lifeless in his hotel room.

While we won't be linking out to those photos, another picture has surfaced that appears to be a note left behind by the shooter. The writing on the note is not visible in the photo, but the pen next to the note suggests that the gunman, Stephen Paddock, left some type of message behind before he exited this world.

Was it an apology note, a meaningless note not related to the shooting, or did it offer some sort of explanation as to what led him to kill so many innocent people? Unfortunately, we do not have answers at this time.

Along with the note, authorities found 23 weapons inside his hotel room at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

Meanwhile, just a short time ago, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department released body cam footage from the first officers who arrived on scene.

Officials are still trying to put all of the puzzle pieces together in the hopes of discovering a motive in the case.
