Adding To H&M’s Woes, G-Eazy Walks Out After The Weeknd

The partnership had not dropped yet between H&M and G-Eazy, and now it will not due to the "Monkey In The Jungle" scandal. 

For those who missed it, the clothing line released racially charged imagery of an African American child posing in a shirt that says "Coolest Monkey in the Jungle," which is more derogatory than a "chill statement for a graphic tee."

"Over the past months I was genuinely excited about launching my upcoming line and collaboration with H&m," says Gerald. "Unfortunately, after seeing the disturbing image yesterday, my excitement over our global campaign quickly evaporated, and I’ve decided at this time our partnership needs to end."

This comes on the heels of H&M being denounced by crooner The Weeknd, who took to Twitter to announce that their partnership would not have a sophomore season.

Looks like H&M will be heading toward blacklisting.
