LOS ANGELES, CA – MARCH 09: Marion “Suge” Knight appears for a hearing at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center March 9, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. The hearing was scheduled to determine if the two criminal cases against Knight, one for murder and attempted murder when Knight allegedly ran over two men in a Compton parking lot after an argument and another case involving an alleged robbery and criminal threats to a photographer in Beverly Hills, should be moved to the downtown Los Angeles courthouse. Turns out, according to XXL, Knight entered "a plea of no contest to the charge of voluntary manslaughter in his long-awaited murder trial, for which he'll receive 28 years in prison."
He was also informed that he could be deported, to which he responded, "So, ICE can come and get me," he reportedly said in court.
By the time Knight will be released, he'd be 79 years old.
Personally, with all his history, and what he's rumored to have done as Death Row Records head, he's probably safer in prison than he is on the outside.
