Timbaland and Swizz Beatz are bringing their "Verzuz" series to Apple Music and Beats 1. The series, which pits legendary artists/producers against each other, was launched in March on Instagram Live and has become a can't-miss event for classic hip-hop and R&B fans during the pandemic.
The next episode -- featuring Snoop Dogg and DMX -- will be the first to be broadcast on Apple, but will still be simulcast on Instagram Live. The show will be accessible on-demand afterward on Apple music.
According to Variety, artists see streaming numbers grow by up to 300% after appearing on the show.
