Normani Seemingly Confirms That Her Next Single Is Titled ‘Candy Paint’

If you missed Normani's Instagram Live on Memorial Day you might have passed over the fact that she pretty much confirmed that her new single will be called "Candy Paint."

Normani has had no misses with her last two releases which were "Wild Side" featuring Cardi B from last year and most recently "Fair" which dropped in March. But if you're a diehard Normani fan, you've been itching for something new which the ATL songstress seemingly hinted at in her last IG Live.

A fan in the comments asked the former Fifth Harmony singer to “Drop ‘Candy Paint’ now.” Normani's friend was clearly taken aback by the fact that anyone knew the name of the song. The singer slyly whispered in her friend's ear and continued a side conversation with another friend where you can hear her ask, "You heard it?" seemingly referring to the song, "Yeah it's it," she added after her friends' nod.

Normani gets vulnerable in her new song "Fair."

“This song really captures me in one of my most vulnerable moments,” Normani said in a press statement ,per Pitchfork. “Sharing this record makes me uncomfortable because you have never really seen me in this light. Definitely aware that you might feel like you don’t know much about me but that’s only because it’s what makes me feel protected. I am really forcing myself to let go here. This is huge for me and hopefully this piece of art resonates. Love is beautiful yet so soooo terrifying. I adore you guys to the moon and back.”

"Fair" finds the Atlanta singer overcoming the aftermath of heartbreak as she wishes to trade places with the man that contributed to her anguish.

"Fair" follows Normani's 2021 offering "Wild Side" featuring Cardi B.
