Lil Uzi Vert's The Pink Tape will be arriving soon. The rapper announced Monday (June 26) that they will release the album on Friday (June 30). Uzi shared a lengthy video to social media writing, "Pink Tape Movie. Album Coming Soon."

In the video shared on social media, the Philadelphia rapper can be seen fighting with a sword in an anime-inspired short film.

The Pink Tape will reportedly have 26 tracks on it, but an official tracklist has yet to be announced.

The Pink Tape will be the emcee's third studio album following Eternal Atake (2020), and Luv Is Rage 2 (2017). Between full-length projects, Uzi most recently released an EP last year titled Red & White. Since then, the rapper had a massive hit with his Jersey club-influenced track "Just Wanna Rock" which got his first solo No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs Chart. He previously earned a No. 1 for his feature on the Migos' Bad and Boujee, released in 2017.

Most recently, Uzi worked with Future and Don Toliver on two songs from the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack. Metro Boomin produced the film's soundtrack.

Uzi recently made headlines due to an incident with his girlfriend JT. Uzi opened the 2023 BET Awards where they seemingly previewed new music. The new song that Uzi performed called out Bronx rapper Ice Spice.

"I got a nice wife/Wig came off twice/She got a little afro, she looks like Ice Spice."

Fan video which began circulating online, shows JT throwing her phone at them, calling him a "bitch a-- n----" and a "groupie" before she storms off. Ice Spice later took a photo of Uzi, adding more fuel to the rumor mill. Fans noted that JT "liked" the image, which some interpreted as shady.

"Baby Jt is a Sagittarius," one fan wrote in the comment section of The Neighborhood Talk's Instagram page about the City Girls' sun sign. "She liked that pic being petty and letting Uzi know it’s on my boy. U played with the right girl. That’s how we do she not even mad at ice spice frfr. She mad [at] him for playing with her."

However, per TMZ, JT's team denied that the argument had anything to do with Ice Spice and that the couple is fine.
