Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, and The Weeknd have teamed up for a new single titled "KPOP." The music video features all three artists switching from scenes at a soccer field, a club, and then a house party with breathtaking views. There are also cameos by Pharrell and SZA.

"KPOP" marks Scott and The Weeknd's sixth time collaborating on a song. The pair first linked up for "Pray 4 Love" from Scott’s 2015 album Rodeo. The following year, they worked together on "Wonderful" from Scott’s album Birds In the Trap Sing McKnight. Their latest collaborations were two on Scott's Astroworld: "WAKE UP" and "SKELETONS" and then "Power Is Power" alongside SZA on the For the Throne: Music Inspired by the HBO Series Game of Thrones soundtrack.

Scott and Bad Bunny have worked together two other times before "KPOP." They were both on the remix of "Krippy Kush" by Farruko with Nicki Minaj, and Rvssian, and both of them were also on the remix to "Know No Better" by Major Lazer, Scott, Camila Cabello, and Quavo.

"KPOP" is the first time The Weeknd and Bad Bunny have worked together.

"KPOP" comes right before Scott's concert and live stream of his highly anticipated album, Utopia. The concert will take place on July 28 at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.  It was previously reported that it was canceled. Live Nation debunked those claims with a statement on Tuesday (July 18).

"There have been no changes to Travis Scott’s show in Egypt," Live Nation told Rolling Stone. "Any reports to the contrary are false. We can’t wait to celebrate Utopia with you in Egypt!"

It was previously reported that the show "goes against the cultural identity of the Egyptian people." Due to Scott's 2021 festival Astroworld, a safety measure was also a concern by government officials. Ten people died due to a crowd surge at the festival.

A new social media network has arrived under Mark Zuckerberg's Meta umbrella. The text-focused social media platform Threads officially launched on July 5, 2023. Take a look below to learn more about Threads and see which of your favorite rappers already took the plunge onto the new platform.

What Is Threads?

Threads is an app that was built by the Instagram team, which is part of Meta. The app is obviously designed to rival Elon Musk's Twitter which focuses more on text conversations than visuals. Although you can still share photos, videos, and GIFs on both apps. For Threads, your posts can be up to 500 characters long and include links, photos, and videos up to 5 minutes in length. However, unlike its direct competitor Twitter, Threads users will notice that you are unable to message other users directly or to use hashtags.

Zuckerberg's Threads has amassed 100 million sign-ups, according to the founder, over its first couple of days. The app had "mostly organic demand, and we haven't even turned on many promotions yet," Zuckerberg posted on Threads on Monday morning. "Can't believe it's only been 5 days!" With that amount of sign-ups, it has beat both ChatGPT and TikTok as the fastest-growing consumer app in history, according to CBS News.

TikTok took nine months to build the same amount of users. Instagram took two years to have 100 million users on the platform. Previously, ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence app used to formulate human-like responses in text and images, reigned as the fastest-growing app after amassing 100 million monthly active users within two months.

How Can I Sign Up For Threads?

You can sign up for Threads through your Instagram account. Please note if you have multiple Instagram accounts, you must log in and out of them to access each individual Threads account. Note that if you sign up for Threads, and then decide you want to delete your account, you also need to delete your associated Instagram account.

Do I Need An Instagram Account To Join Threads?

Currently, you need an active Instagram account to join the Threads community.
