Usher and Lil Boosie Bringing Roller Skating Back: Who is Better?

Remember the roller skating parties? Remember "Super Soul Nite" at the skating ring right here in Fayetteville.

Well the art known as skating after so long has still managed to become "the where it's at" activity among the young and old. Even now, like in Minneapolis, roller skaters are turning sidewalks into skateparks, bringing their own DJ and rental skates for others if they fancy getting their skate on.

During the pandemic, roller skating is making a HUGE comeback! Even artists are getting in the groove. Usher and Lil Boosie were some of my favorites who showed off their roller skating moves.

Usher actually helped revitalize a roller rink out in Hollywood, called Flipper's Roller Boogie. The owner, Liberty Ross, told Yahoo how Usher got involved:

"What happened was I actually turned my garage in LA into Flipper's. That was during the pandemic because all the rinks shut down. So we couldn't skate. And now it's like LA's little best kept secret. Everyone comes and skates with us, which is so fun. But Usher came over to skate. And we realized that we shared the same dream. He has always wanted to do this for the skate community as well, open rinks. "

But practice DOES make perfect!!
