Did Rajon Rondo Actually Spit On Chris Paul?

Is spitting on another person the most disrespectful thing another person can do to you? Some would say yes and I assure you Chris Paul would be one of them….

Is spitting on another person the most disrespectful thing another person can do to you? Some would say yes and I assure you Chris Paul would be one of them.

This past Saturday night, the Houston Rockets visited the Los Angeles Lakers in a highly anticipated matchup that featured some of the NBA’s most popular/talented players.

The matchup didn’t disappoint.

The game was tight going into the fourth quarter and tensions were high, as the season has just gotten underway and when you combine the likes of Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo on the floor, things can get chippy.

That’s exactly what happened.

In the video below, you see it all start with Brandon Ingram pushing James Harden for what seems to be for the play prior. Ingram received the technical foul and as the teams are calming down Ingram, Rondo and Paul get to jawing at each other and all of the sudden punches get thrown.

Now from this angle, you can’t see it, but apparently, Rajon Rondo spit on Chris Paul and that’s what caused Paul to push Rondo in his face which led to Rondo punching Paul.

Here’s a closer look.

Now, in my opinion, this could have been an accident because it look like he may have been talking, and if you have ever worn a mouthpiece before, you know that saliva builds up in your mouth quite easily, but then again, Rondo is known for trolling and being confrontational so there is no telling.

What do you think, was it an accident or on purpose?
