Carole Baskin May Not Have Killed Her Husband After All

In a startling development, apparently Carole Baskin - who shot to Tiger King fame - may not have killed her husband after all. Don Lewis, is actually ALIVE.  Carole and her alleged husband-murdering ways became household conversation back in 2020 with the launch of Netflix's The Tiger King.

According to Cosmopolitan, we've missed it for a while now.

"Baskin revealed that Homeland Security had been in touch to confirm they'd uncovered Lewis' whereabouts," The report in Cosmo said.

They went on to say that Carole told another reporter "They said my husband, Don Lewis, is alive and well in Costa Rica. And yet all of this drama has been made about me having something to do with his disappearance, when Homeland Security has known where he is," she said. Baskin went on to share her surprise at the news, adding: "I didn’t think he was capable of supporting himself. He took about a million dollars down to Costa Rica, I had agreed to let him do that so he could prove to himself that he could make a living." As for what happened to the money in question, Baskin said she attempted to recover it, only to find there was just $80,000 left "because the investments he had made were so bad."

So, where is Big Don these days?  "Although Carole Baskin asserts that the US government is aware (her ex husband) Lewis is alive and living in Costa Rica, he's still legally documented as being dead. He's also made no public statement about the fact he isn't quite six feet under, nor does he appear to have returned to America."

I guess you can't trust everything that The Tiger King says on TV.

Now, where is my notepad when I need it? If I were keeping count, I guarantee you I have heard the words "thank goodness 2022 is gone" a dozen times. Maybe more.
