Fort Bragg’s 100th Anniversary
Camp Bragg was established on September 4, 1918, outside of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Fort Bragg was built as an artillery unit. Later, it became home of the Airborne and Special Operations Forces. With more than 50,000 Service members and close to 30,000 civilians, Fort Bragg continues to have a rich history today.
