Words can not really convey my current level of excitement for the new “The Color Purple,” so I’ll just equate it to a kid on Christmas!
Fantasia, Taraji, Ciara, Halle Bailey, H.E.R., I’m sure you think I’m throwing out names from some star studded Hollywood event.
Nope, that’s just part of the star studded cast of the 2023 version of “The Color Purple.”
This Christmas we get to witness the remake of one of my favorite novel-turned-films. This new version is actually an adaptation of the Broadway musical, not really of the film we all know and love.
