With Halloween falling on a Sunday this year, it has created some scheduling trickery in the area. Many events are being held on Saturday, October 30, including “official” trick-or-treat hours.

  • Cumberland County Trick-or-Treating

This one is stirring debate all around the area, but Cumberland County has set trick-or-treating officially for Saturday, October 30 from 6-8 p.m. Officials have reportedly told many neighborhoods they can trick-or-treat on Sunday, if they wish, but that if there are complaints, they may be asked to leave.

    From Cumberland County:

Trick or Treat Activities in Cumberland County are set for Saturday, Oct. 30. Children who plan to trick or treat should begin at 6 p.m. and end door-to-door visits no later than 8 p.m.
