About

Jae McKrae’s has an extensive background in media. In radio alone he has worn multiple hats: operations manager, program director, music director, production director, account executive, and even the “coffee maker, and dough-nut fetcher.”

Jae is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia. While in school he focused on Radio/Television and Motion Picture Production. Jae developed his broadcasting skills at Temple U with WRTI (90.1-FM) a jazz radio station. During a college internship that took him to Philly International Records led by the famed Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff. There, he experienced a realistic view of the music industry.

Today, Jae is an award winning Producer/Director/Editor/Writer of educational/instructional videos, with four consecutive People’s Telly Awards. He also designs multimedia presentations. Jae produces radio commercials, and plays a major role in producing high school football radio. Since 1991, he has been the editor of the Fayetteville Press, which is the area’s oldest business monthly newspaper focusing on achievements, and activities related to people of color.

Jae has been recognized for civic duties. He’s also been instrumental in exposing volunteers to the value of community service by arranging visits to patients at the VA and Cape Fear Medical Centers. His community efforts have earned him proclamations on the state level.
