Just last night, Guice told SiriusXM NFL Radio that one team asked him if “he liked men,” during the NFL Scouting Combine.
According the Complex, Guice gave SiriusXM the full scoop, “It was pretty crazy. Some people are really trying to get in your head and test your reaction. I go in one room, and a team will ask me do it like men, just to see my reaction. I go in another roon, they’ll try to bring up one of my family members or something and tell me, ‘Hey, I heard your mom sells herself. How do you feel about that?’”
This has not been the first time that NFL teams have asked inappropriate questions to players three players in the 2013 draft class were asked about their sexual orientation, Eli Apple was asked the same question & Dez Bryant was asked if his mother was a prostitute back in 2010.
Although the NFL has an anti-discrimination policy, they clearly don’t enforce it well enough to have teams abide to the guidelines.
If you ask me, they should be punishing these teams that don’t follow the rules, that’s how the rest of the world works.
Do you think we will hear about this again come next year?
Or will the NFL continue to ignore these issues?
