Princess Love Says She Wants a Divorce From Ray J
Princess Love, singer Ray J’s wife recently took to social media to share that she wants a divorce from Ray J.
On Thursday (Nov. 21), Princess did a now-deleted Instagram Live session that The Shade Room captured where she explained that Ray J asked her if she would consider relocating to Las Vegas.
However, Princess is opposed to the idea because she doesn’t think that Sin City is a place to raise children, as she and Ray J have a daughter and a son on the way.
Before taking to Instagram Live to reveal issues that she and Ray J are currently having, Princess had also taken to social media to share that Ray J had allegedly left her and their daughter Melody stranded in Las Vegas, as E! News reported.
She said that she could afford to pay for herself to fly back home. However, her car was in Las Vegas, so she had to drive it back. Princess also said that she’s pregnant and didn’t want to stop for gas with the current influx of sex trafficking.
Ray J had a different side to the story, however. “To insinuate I’ve done anything to harm my daughter is sad, man,” Ray J said in an Instagram video from his Las Vegas hotel room. “I just don’t understand how somebody can get stranded when we never left, we’ve been right here.”
“My heart has been heavy for the last past week. I miss my baby Melody so much it hurts! I’m so sorry the world has to watch a young relationship like ours fall down,” Ray J wrote in the caption of his post.
“In order to be solid in a relationship, you have to keep people out of it and let God work it out. But this hasn’t been the case. I will continue being the best man and father I can be no matter what’s on the other side. Without respect there is nothing. Love took a, ‘L’ this time.”
E! Online pointed out that it’s contradictory for Ray J to miss his daughter if they’ve still been together in Sin City the entire time. Princess Love also echoed the publication’s sentiment in her Instagram story. “If we’ve ‘so-called’ been there the whole time, why would you miss your baby?” Princess said.
Princess took to her Instagram story again and wrote a cryptic message that said, “practice what you preach.”
