Meek Mill Makes Acting Debut In ‘Charm City Kings’
Meek Mill makes his debut on the silver screen in Charm City Kings, a street racing film based in Baltimore.
The Philadelphia rapper portrays a character named “Blax” who is an ex-con. The film is centered around Jahi Di’Allo Winston’s character “Mouse,” a teenager from West Baltimore who is at a crossroads that could catapult him into the same gang life that left his brother dead.
Charm City Kings is directed by Angel Manuel Soto and is executive produced by Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, and James Lassiter.
Will Catlett, Chino Braxton, and Teyonah Parris also star in the film that debuts at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, later this month.
The movie will also be released in New York, Baltimore, and Los Angeles, on April 10, while opening nationwide on April 17. Watch the trailer below.
