‘Empire’ Actor Bryshere Gray Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges
Empire actor Bryshere Gray has been arrested on charges of domestic violence.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Gray was arrested Monday morning outside of Arizona after a standoff while barricaded inside his home with crisis negotiators and a SWAT team. Police had arrived overnight to detain Gray but he refused to leave, but he ended up giving in at 7 AM.
According to the police report below, a woman identifying herself as Gray’s wife called 911 saying she was assaulted in their home. The woman reportedly had numerous injuries on her body and alleged that Bryshere strangled her as well.
She was taken to the hospital and later discharged. She is now being helped by detectives and a victim advocate.
Bryshere was booked on charges in Maricopa County Jail of aggravated assault, assault and disorderly conduct.
