Lizzo has always been an advocate of body positivity and female empowerment. And now she’s sending a powerful message with an unedited selfie of herself naked on Instagram.
The “Truth Hurts” singer is celebrating the start of Taurus Season by showing off her birthday suit with no filter and zero edits.
“Now normally I would fix my belly and smooth my skin but baby I wanted show u how I do it au natural,” Lizzo wrote in her caption to her 10.2 million followers.
She also went on to explain that she is excited about her new partnership with Dove
and the #DoveSelfEsteemProject.
“I am excited to be partnering with @dove and the #DoveSelfEsteemProject which is helping to reverse the negative effects of social media and changing the conversation about beauty standards,” she said.
The #doveselfesteemproject aims to help young people overcome body image issues and fulfill their potential by building positive body confidence and self-esteem.
