Main Event Fayetteville Offering Free Games For Life in ‘Missing’ Bowling Pins Contest
Main Event in Fayetteville is opening soon, and now locals have a shot to win free games for life as part of a “missing” bowling pins scavenger hunt contest.
“There’s a new business in town that needs help from the people of Fayetteville! The new Main Event location in Fayetteville has lost a very important part of their opening, offering residents various prizes to win throughout the week,” Main Event said in a news release. “With clues being revealed from Wednesday, July 26 through Friday, August 5, Main Event is calling on Fayetteville to help locate ten missing bowling pins and win prizes ahead of their upcoming opening!”
Main Event – a new family fun center related to the Dave & Buster’s brand – is opening on August 9 at Cross Creek Mall. The facility offers games, bowling, laser tag, food, drinks, birthday parties and more.
“The Fayetteville location will have endless entertainment and activities, including laser tag, video games, virtual reality, and 18 state-of-the-art bowling lanes with unique technology and VIP seating. The location also features Main Event’s signature in-center dining experience, Family Kitchen, designed for guests to create lasting memories while indulging in its handcrafted, flavorful American-classic dishes with a twist.”
The missing bowling pin promotion begins Wednesday, July 26, with the first clue coming on the website at 10 a.m. The first person that finds each of the first nine pins will get an invitation to the VIP opening event, as well as free games for a year. The final golden pin clues will be released on August 4, and the person who finds that pin will win Main Event for life.

We’re gearing up for an epic grand opening weekend, and those pins are the missing piece to the puzzle,” Main Event Fayetteville General Manager Derrick Shane said. “We can’t wait to show Fayetteville all the fun they can have under one roof at Main Event – But first, we need your detective skills to find those pins!”
