Nicki Minaj Continues To Tease What To Expect On ‘Pink Friday 2’

Nicki Minaj has continued to hype up her upcoming album, Pink Friday 2. The rapper’s fifth studio album is expected to arrive on her birthday next Friday (Dec. 8). On X (formerly known as Twitter), the New York native has been teasing song lyrics and dubbing the upcoming project as “one of the greatest albums of ALL TIME.”

She also gave fans a hint as to who inspired the album.

The official track listing for Pink Friday 2 has yet to be released, so exactly what the rapper means is unknown. However, fans did try to guess what she was trying to tell them through her lyrics.

“PAPA BEAR NAME REVEAL,” one fan wrote about the rapper’s two-year-old son whom she shared with her husband. Nicki affectionately calls her son “Papa Bear” but has never released his birth name.

She did release “Last Time I Saw You,” which had more of a mellow tone than what the rapper usually puts out.

She gave fans a one-minute snippet prior to the release, and they overwhelmingly responded with excitement to the then-upcoming release.

“Glad you like the lyrics,” the rapper replied on X. “The irony is that my fave part of the whole song is the very end… like the last 30 seconds. can’t wait for you guys to hear the whole thing.”
