Ice Spice Joins Cash Cobain And Bay Swag’s ‘Fisherrr’ Remix
Ice Spice has hopped on the remix to Cash Cobain and Bay Swag’s “Fisherr” which is already in the running to be a song of the summer contender.
The song has the New York natives rap about their newly acquired wealth and being the “baddest boo.”
“It’s a beautiful record. It feels amazing, it feels like N.Y.C. is back stronger than ever with me and Spice — two Bronx legends,” Cobain says in a press release per People. “Get ready for the song of the summer.”
The “Fisherrr” remix follows Spice’s Grammy-nominated remix of Taylor Swift’s “Karma.”
The Latest Update On Ice Spice’s Y2K After ‘Fisherrr’ Remix Release
Ice Spice previewed a new song during the first week of Coachella that will be on her debut album Y2K.
“[Bitches] be losing the plot & that’s how I got to the top & NO I don’t got any opps/ Like why would I beef with a flop,” the 24-year-old wrote in a post on X. “Like let’s talk drill!! Who bigger than she?!! Who prettier too?!!!/ 250 to GET IN THE BOOTH,” she added.

The song seemingly samples Sean Paul’s 2005 hit “Gimme The Light.” Ice’s version will be called “Gimme A Light” and it will be released on May 10.
“Y2K” is the abbreviation for Year 2000, which is fitting for the Bronx drill artist: she was born on January 1, 2000. On social media, the rapper posted two photos of herself wearing a signature mini skirt, orange fro, and a lollipop with the caption, “I finished recording y2k the album.”
In January, she confirmed that there is a project in the works during her interview with The Today Show.
“Yes, there’s gonna be an album,” Ice Spice told co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager. “I’m so excited.”
She added that she had “a crazy collaboration that just got locked in, like two days ago” at the time.
Ice Spice first teased the project back in November when she posted a photo of herself with a tattoo on her lower back. While the exact meaning of the tattoo is unknown, the caption read, “?/?/24.”
Right now, there is no official release date for the album, but she told Billboard that she’s proud of what she has so far for the album.
“I think this is some of my best work,” the rapper teased.
