Joker’s MizFitz Car Club Car-A-Con In Lumberton Saturday
Our friends at the Joker’s MizFitz Car Club in Robeson County are sponsoring a wonderful event to help our school kids for the 2024-2025 school year. Can you believe we are quickly wrapping up another school year?
The Joker’s MizFitz Car-A-Con takes place this Saturday, May 4th at Biggs Park Mall at 2800 North Elm Street in Lumberton, North Carolina. The Car-A-Con begins at 10:00 a.m. and goes until 6:00 p.m.
The goal of the Car-A-Con is to raise money for the upcoming Back To School Bash. During the Back To School Bash in August, free book bags and school supplies will be given to the kids of Robeson County.
Jamie Hunt of the Joker’s MizFitz Car Club says to bring the whole family and enjoy this fun day in Robeson County. Jamie says that there will be lots of vendors on site all day long to answer any questions about Audio, Tint, Wraps, Paint, Lifts, Motorcycles, Custom Cups, Showboards, Custom Shirts and lots more.
Special Treats at Joker’s MizFitz Event
Jamie also says that those who come out Saturday are in for a treat. Among the Television and Movie replica cars will be the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard, the K.I.T.T. car from Knight Rider, The A-Team Van and the Mean Green Machine as well.
There will also be meet & greets with James Royster who does a fantastic tribute to the beloved character Roscoe P. Coltrane from “The Dukes of Hazzard” television show.
Joe Lamacchio who played a police officer in “The Dukes of Hazzard Daisy’s Song” will be there. Joe appeared during the first season in episode two of “The Dukes of Hazzard” television show. Joe, from Covington, Georgia, loves meeting fans of the show, giving autographs, taking pictures and discussing one of the most popular television shows of all time.
Making a special appearance at the 2024 Joker’s MizFitz Car-A-Con, will be Tom Sarmento. After serving in Vietnam with the United States Marine Corps, Tom ended up in Hollywood working on the television show “The Fall Guy,” “B.J. and The Bear” and “The Dukes of Hazzard.” Tom also worked as a Hollywood stunt guy and as a Plymouth/Chrysler mechanic for NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) drag racing.
There will also be a Best Theme Car Show. Call Harley today at 910-707-9148 in order to reserve your spot. There will only be 50 spots available. The winner of the Best Theme Car Show will take home a six foot tall Best Themed trophy. There will also be ten Best of Show trophies given away.
If you are wondering about food at the Joker’s MizFitz Car-A-Con, Taste of the Islands Hawaiian BBQ food truck, the Benson’s Family BBQ food truck plus Domino’s Pizza of Lumberton and Citrus Squeeze will serving food and beverages.
MATCO Tools will also have their tool truck at the Car-A-Con.
Also, fans will be happy to hear that Ring Wars Carolina will be appearing slamming bodies and taking names.
Be sure to check out the 1973 NASCAR Charger ARCA (The Automobile Racing Club of America) car. Yes, it is an actual stock car.

Money raised will go toward the Back To School Bash in August which provides book bags and school supplies for the kids of Robeson County.
The Joker’s MizFitz Car-A-Con is Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Biggs Park Mall, 2800 North Elm Street in Lumberton, North Carolina.
