Drake Shares Cryptic Post About Death Amid Kendrick Lamar Beef
Drake shared a cryptic post about death on his Instagram Story amid his current feud with Kendrick Lamar. On Drizzy’s Story, he shared a scene from the Netflix series A Man in Full featuring Jeff Daniels.
Daniels’ character says: “I don’t mean this as a criticism. Maybe I do. But when you die, will people notice?”
“When I go, there are gonna be a lot of memories of me by a lot of people, many who hate me. Even so, a person needs to live with vigor. Otherwise, what’s the point?”
Drake And Kendrick Beef Amid Drizzy’s Cryptic Post About Death
Drake and Kendrick have been coming at one another through a weeks-long feud featuring scathing diss tracks.
It all began on the diss track “Like That” where Kendrick separated himself from the “big three” in hip-hop. That was a reference to J. Cole’s “First Person Shooter” where Cole said that he, Drake, and Kendrick were all at the top.
“Love when they argue the hardest MC/Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me?/We the big three like we started a league, but right now, I feel like Muhammad Ali,” Cole raps.
However, on that song, Drake dismissed Kendrick as a part of the “big three.”
“Who the GOAT? Who you bitches really rooting for?/Like a kid that act bad from January to November, n—-, it’s just you and Cole,” Drake rapped. At the end of his verse he references Michael Jackson rapping, “What the f—, bro? I’m one away from Michael/N—-, beat it, n—-, beat it, what?”
Kendrick then addressed how he feels on from Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Like You. “Yeah, get up with me, f— sneak dissing/’First Person Shooter,’ I hope they came with three switches,” Kendrick raps.
He adds, addressing the “big three” comments: “Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/Motherf— the Big 3, n—-, it’s just big me.”
“N—-a, bum, what? I’m really like that/And your best work is a light pack/N—-, Prince outlived Mike Jack’/N—-, bum, ‘fore all your dogs gettin’ buried/That’s a K with all these nines, he gon’ see Pet Sematary n—-, bum,” he raps.
The last series of diss tracks dropped over the weekend including “Family Matters,” “Buried Alive Pt. 2” and “The Heart Part 6” from Drake. Kendrick dropped “Meet The Grahams” and top contender for a summer banger “Not Like Us.” The Compton native claims that Drake is a pedophile, has ghostwriters, and doesn’t claim an alleged 11-year-old daughter. As for Drake, he claims that Kendrick’s kids aren’t his and are actually Dave Free’s, the former president of Top Dawg Entertainment whom K. Dot was signed to for 10 years. Additionally, Drizzy claims that Kendrick is physically abusive to his wife and that he cheats on her as well.
