The 2024 U.S. Parachute Association National Championships in Raeford This Weekend
Get ready for a fantastic Labor Day celebration with the 2024 U.S. Parachute Association National Championships in Raeford this weekend.
The Championships will be held at Skydive Paraclete XP and will feature the top skydivers in the United States.
Skydive Paraclete XL is located at 143 Airport Drive in Raeford, North Carolina.
Beginning August 29, 2024 through September 4, 2024, spectators will be amazed at the various competions taking place.
One of the most popular is the Canopy Piloting competition. These parachute experts will reach speeds over 100 miles per hour while making contact with the water below and then attempting to come to a complete stop within the target area.
Competitions are also being held in Chicago this weekend and throughout the month of September.
The skydivers that are deemed the best will then represent the United States in future international competitions, including the 2025 Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (World Air Sports Federation) World Cup which will be held in Arizona, Austria and the Netherlands.
