Kanye: Why His Massive Italy Concert Might Not Happen
Kanye’s Italy concert might not come to fruition after all according to Billboard. Ye was reportedly planning a massive concert event at RCF Arena and now it is “very unlikely” to happen. According to the outlet, the stage was being dismantled last week and Ye returned to the United States with his wife Bianca Censori.
Reports surrounding Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s concert began earlier this month. A report via ReggiOnline, an Italian newspaper, said that Ye had a request for a stage to be built at the RCF Arena. The concert was initially planned to take place on Oct. 13.
“In the event the authorizations aren’t forthcoming, the date of the following Friday (which would be October 20) is also on the table. Additionally, there is speculation that the preparations are merely for an end-of-summer concert, and the rumors of who could be performing still hang in the air, especially in the absence of official confirmation from West’s camp or other camps,” the site reports, via translation from Italian.
Kanye Teases New Music With Ty Dolla $ign
As for new music, Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign have been hard at work via clips from their social media. The rapper and R&B singer have been teasing that they are working on a new project together. Earlier this month, in a video clip shared via The Shade Room, the two musicians were seen vibing out to an unreleased song. In the clip, you hear vocals from both of them while they jump with excitement after Ye ends the clip.
While the rapper is working on new music, he also proved that he still has some in the vault. Last month, two of Ye’s albums were leaked. The first project that was leaked was Donda: With Child made rounds on social media. The project is nearly 35 minutes long. The second was the sequel to Jesus Is King, which was supposed to be a collab album with Dr. Dre. Neither album has been released officially nor have there any reports regarding if that is a plan for the rapper in the future.
