North Carolina Board of Elections Schedules Free Voter Registration Seminars
A big thank you to our North Carolina Board of Elections for scheduling free voter registration seminars.
So, when it comes to the topic of elections here in North Carolina, I am sure you have questions. In fact, we all do.
To answer any question or concern that you might have, the North Carolina State Board of Elections has scheduled 5 absolutely FREE Voter Registration Seminars.
The dates for the seminars are:
- Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 31 at 6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 14 at 6:00 p.m.
- Thursday, September 12 at 6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 25 at 6:00 p.m.
All of the seminars will be held at the State Board of Elections office on the third floor of the Dobbs Building located at 430 North Salisbury Street in Raleigh, North Carolina 27603
Seminar Topics Discussed
The topics discussed at each seminar will include:
- Voter registration
- What legal qualifications must one possess in order to register to vote in North Carolina
- Helpful tips on how to correctly complete your voter registration application
- How to correctly update an existing voter registration
- Key considerations when conducting a voter registration drive
- What are the photo identification requirements in order to vote
- Accessibility in voting
How to Request a Personal or Group Seminar
Also, if the above dates don’t work for your schedule, the State Board of Elections can schedule an in-person or online seminar. Check out the full online calendar of events at

If you have an interest in scheduling a group seminar either online or in-person, simply make your request here. Seminar requests will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis and based on the available staff, will then be scheduled.
