DMX Owes Millions To The Government
DMX is ordered to pay $2.3 million in tax evasion costs.
Things are getting worse for DMX when it comes to his legal issues. According to Complex, he is not only going to be in prison for the next year, but now he owes the government $2.3 million in restitution.
As of last week, DMX has officially been sentenced to spend a year in prison after he tried to hide $1.7 million in taxes in a royalty scam. Murray Richman, DMX’s attorney, played his song, Slippin, in court to try to ease the sentence but that clearly didn’t work.
DMX has been in and out of prison the last few years so this doesn’t really come as a surprise.
