The Fayetteville Dogwood Festival returns April 22-24 in Downtown Fayetteville.

Fayetteville is finally getting a full Dogwood Festival back, and they are bringing the heat, with a strong lineup to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Festival as it returns in 2022.

After a 2-year absence because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival returns April 22-24 in Downtown Fayetteville and Festival Park. See the full schedule, plus all of the new and returning attractions below.

On Friday night, April 22 – rock music night – California pop rock band Hoobstank will headline the show. Best known for their 2004 hit “The Reason,” Hoobastank will be joined on the lineup by Marcy Playground.

Marcy Playground is best known for their 1997 hit song “Sex and Candy,” and was set to headline the 2020 Dogwood Festival before it was cancelled for the pandemic.

Friday night will also be the Boom & Bloom Fireworks after Hoobastank’s concert.

Headlining Saturday, April 23 – country music night – will be a name Fayetteville country fans know and love, Tyler Farr. Farr was the MVP of a packed 2018 WKML Stars & Guitars lineup at the Crown.

Joining Farr on country music night will be rising stars Kameron Marlowe and Dillon Carmichael.

The Festival closes on Sunday, April 24 with The Purple Madness – A Tribute to Prince closing out festivities with a bang.

The Dogwood Festival kicks off on Thursday, April 21 with the ticketed “Cork & Fork” food and wine event. Tickets are on sale now for that event for $40 per person, or $75 per couple.

Friday night, the opening ceremony starts things off at 6 p.m. on the Festival Park stage, as well as the Midway of Carnival rides, plus food and other vendors. The full schedule is below.

Saturday morning, the full festival kicks off with the Downtown Street Fair, the Midway of Carnival rides, arts and crafts vendors, the Kid’s Zone, a BMX Bike Show, as well as Dillon Carmichael starting the national acts at 6 p.m. on the Festival Park stage Saturday night. The full schedule for Saturday night is below as well.

The Festival concludes Sunday, with a Car & Motorcycle Show, the Downtown Street Fair, the Midway of Carnival rides, and more anchored attractions, food and more, with The Purple Madness taking the stage at 7:30 p.m.

  • New Addition - Ring Wars Carolina

    Ring Wars Carolina will host a wrestling tournament at the intersection of Ray Avenue and Hay Street. Festival patrons will be able to cheer on their favorite wrestler on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24.

    The 4th Annual Cork & Fork – a premier food & wine event will kick-off the festival on Thursday, April 21. Each year we partner with a non-profit organization to host a gourmet sip & taste event in Festival Park. This event will take place from 6pm-8pm. Tickets are $40/person or $75/couple and can be purchased on the festival website.

  • Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show

    Ready to show your ride? All rides are welcome here! Bring out your ride to Gillespie/Person Street on Sunday, April 24 and join the party. Go ahead and register before space runs out here.

  • KidZone

    KidZone by Carolina Fun Factory will be open on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24. Swing on by with your littles and enjoy a variety of games and entertainment pieces in the area. KidZone is located in Festival Park.

  • Carnival Midway

    Ferris wheels, carousels, popcorn, oh my! The Midway is back and better than ever. This staple will be open Friday-Sunday and is located on the corner of Mason Street and Ray Avenue, in the Masonic Lodge parking lot. The Midway has attractions for all ages of the family.

  • Tyler Farr

    Tyler Farr is well known to WKML listeners. He was part of the 2018 lineup that featured Uncle Kracker, Craig Campbell, William Michael Morgan, Trent Harmon, Cam and Carlton Anderson.

  • Tyler Farr - Redneck Crazy

    Farr’s biggest hit has been his 2013 Platinum song, “Redneck Crazy.”

     

  • Kameron Marlowe

    North Carolina’s own Kameron Marlowe is a rising star in Nashville. He is best known for his appearance on The Voice in 2018. His newest single is “Steady Heart,” and you are going to LOVE it.

  • Dillon Carmichael

    Another rising star in Nashville, Dillon Carmichael has some strong roots. His uncles are country stars John Michael Montgomery and Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry. His song “Hot Beer” has been stuck on our playlists.

    With over 10 million albums sold worldwide, Hoobastank is a force in the pop rock world. The California band made waves with their 2004 megahit “The Reason,” which was nominated for two Grammy’s and reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
