Tupac’s Letter To Madonna Will NOT Be Auctioned Off
Some things are just too sacred.
According to Billboard, Madonna went after an emergency court order and said that a “former friend” of hers is behind the sale, which included the letter from Tupac Shakur, a pair of worn underwear, and a hairbrush with her hair in it.
Talk about creepy!
Billboard quotes her saying that it is “outrageous and grossly offensive” that her DNA could have been auctioned off to the highest bidder.
The letter, which was the biggest buy of the bunch, was Tupac admitting that he felt that he had to break off the relationship between the two because she was white and he was black.
TMZ Quotes his letter saying:
“For you to be seen with a black man wouldn’t in any way jeopardize your career, if anything it would make you seem that much more open and exciting.”
“But for me at least in my previous perception I felt due to my ‘image’ I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was.”
“I never meant to hurt you.”
