Wiz Khalifa Tests Positive For COVID-19
Cameron Jibril Thomaz, better known by his rap name, Wiz Khalifa, is the latest celeb to test positive for COVID-19.
Wiz Khalifa told his fans of his diagnosis on Twitter Thursday and while he had no symptoms, the rapper urges people to stay away from him. It is unclear if the “See You Again” rapper is vaccinated.

The rapper shortly tweeted while he is in quarantine he will be working on new projects.

Los Angeles County, where the artist currently resides, has had a spike in COVID-19 cases since the city has opened back up. Local ABC7 reported, “1,315 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. That’s almost 10 times the number of cases the county saw exactly one month ago, one day before California’s reopening: 135 cases.”
Dr. Sam Torbati from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. County encouraged to take care of one another and “be aware of each other’s health and do everything we can to be part of each other’s solutions.”
