You can have a new addition to your holiday films rotation. Jaleel White will reprise his role as Steve Urkel from Family Matters in a new holiday animated film, Urkel Saves Santa: The Movie. Urkel's goal is to spread more holiday cheer around town, but he ends up creating a disaster due to his goofy ways.

"The holiday season is here, and brilliant but accident-prone super genius Steve Urkel has only one mission — to make the holidays the best they can be for everyone! However, things are off to a not so merry start after he ruins a celebration at his local shopping mall and humiliates the department store Santa," the Warner Bros. produced film's descriptor reads. "Hoping to make things right, Steve invents a device that helps people spread holiday cheer, but it only manages to make things worse. Using his big brain and his even bigger heart, it’s up to Steve to help the city rediscover the holiday spirit."

Urkel messes up several times in the trailer, prompting the actor to quote his famous line: "Did I do that?"

While his attempts to spread holiday cheer around the neighborhood get disgruntled looks from the residents, they know that his heart is in the right place.

In addition to White, the film also features the voices of Nicole Byer, Roy Wood Jr., and Kym Whitley.

Urkel Saves Santa: The Movie is now available on demand.

Family Matters aired for nine seasons from 1989 - 1998. The Winslows created 215 episodes spanning the nine seasons that they were on air. The cast, which included members Jo Marie Payton, Reginald VelJohnson, Kellie Shanygne Williams, Darius McCrary, Jaleel White, Telma Hopkins, Shawn Harrison, and Bryton James, all showed up to People's cast reunion in 2017. You can watch their reunion here.

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful. That could be being thankful for your friends, family, a new job, a new relationship, graduating school, the birth of a new child, or personal growth from the year prior. It's also a time to show off a bit. More often than not, you're planning your flyest outfit to outdress all of your cousins in the living room. You might play football with your family in the yard (or leave it to the professionals on the television). Or you might want to play board games with your family while waiting for the food -- and watch out for your uncle, who always cheats. Eventually, you'll make your way to the dining room table with traditional food from your culture and catch up with family you haven't seen in a while. You might find yourself dodging questions like "How's school?" or "Are you dating anyone?" as you politely decline to disclose any personal information that your nosy aunt can't seem to find out about you on Facebook.

While Thanksgiving shenanigans are bound to happen, the reality of the holiday can also be a solemn time for some. If you are grieving someone this year, do what you can to make the holiday as bearable as possible.

Thanksgiving On Television

As much as we want to enjoy our family and friends this Thanksgiving, we are thankful for television, too. Television has a funny way of reflecting on what happens in real life. First off, there is always some sort of drama. Whether that is someone coming in fashionably late, your cousin who thinks they can cook bringing their "special dish" that ends up in the trash at the end of the night, or you politely having to cut off that relative who continues to make their way to the alcohol. However, your Thanksgiving ends up being this year, your favorite characters have got your back.
