Columbus Short Claims Britney Spears’ Parents Used The N-Word Around Him
Columbus Short is revealing some shocking allegations against Britney Spears’ family. Page Six says that the actor details his time as a background dancer for Britney in his autobiography, Short Stories. And now he’s giving more information about the incident.
Short said that while working with Britney, they slept together. He adds that soon after, he overheard a phone conversation with her and her parents. The outlet states, “He claims he overheard her parents ask, ‘Why are you f—ing that n—–?’ And that, ‘Britney looked at me so apologetically, knowing I’d heard it. I shook my head and didn’t say anything, because what was there to say?'”
Now, Columbus Short is talking more about the incident. He recently appeared on Jazzie Bell’s YouTube Show titled Inside Hollywood and gave further details.
He said, “I wasn’t shocked when it happened. Look where they’re from … they’re from Louisiana. Because they have black bodyguards doesn’t mean behind closed doors they don’t use that word. The way it came out was so effortless, like that’s how they speak. So, wasn’t shocked and I wasn’t hurt by it, I was just like, ‘Wow, this is … wow…Ok … I know who I am around here.'”
He also said, “After that, I felt like maybe she was using me to piss them off for some reason. That was me just saying that, but I don’t know. I think she is a really sweet person that was tormented in a position on a high level that I couldn’t imagine. I liken it to Princess Diana. She was the pop princess of the world. Britney couldn’t go nowhere — her world completely controlled in this bubble. There would be times that she would act out, and I don’t blame her. She was trying to… trying to find her way.”
Since Columbus Short shared his story, Britney Spears’ mother has released a statement. She told Page Six, “I want to be very clear. Those terrible words are not remotely in my vocabulary. I would never say that to anyone, much less my daughter. Ever.”
Spears’ father has also denied claims, but he has not released a statement. But a source is speaking out for him. They state, “Jamie was not there, and not involved. In fact, during this time period, Jamie was not involved in Britney’s business at all.”
